My 95' 4.0L swap

how hard was the auto to manual swap?

it wasn't that hard, having the engine out helped though with the wiring. the hardest part if i was only doing the transmission swap would have to be switching the stupid pedal assembly under the dash. other than that that it was pretty much taking one thing out and putting another back in.

what did you do with the old auto tranny selector? leave a hole in the column? or did ya swap a column cover from a manual truck?

well for the gear selector i took out the instrument cluster and the selector pops out of the bottom. i took some black paper and cut it to fit over it and just slid it back in.

as for the shifter i took the plastic cover off the column and hammered out the pin that holds the shifter on and then just put the cover back on for now. i'll get one off of a manual late on to give it an authentic look.
