So I got my 4wd, 5 speed Ranger XLT a few years ago with only 42,000 miles on it. I did a few things to it and cleaned it up.

As of a month ago, this is how it was sitting:

So, a few weekends ago I took off the step sides because I thought they looked ugly on a smaller truck. I put in a new tranny mount to fix some drivetrain slop, put on a new set of pads and rotors and threw on a new cap, rotor, and plug wires to take care of cylinder 3 that was arching on me. I also put a whole new stereo in it. It's like a whole new truck.

I just put a new set of tires on it and washed it up this weekend.

Not bad for a mostly stock, 15 year old truck. It has been such a good little truck so I thought I'd share some pics.
