I have a 94 Mazda B3000 that I bought for $3,500 with 49,000 miles. I call my truck the “Razda” (Mazda and Ranger combined). The owner died last year and his daughter was selling it. He took great care of it. Now I have dropped $1,500 into it because the coolant system needed to be completed updated and I added an electric fan. Changed over the oil to synthetic and changed the transmission fluid to royal purple synchromax. New tires. Ran into an issue and had to change the alternator so I upgraded to a 130 amp alternator. I moved the 12v plug to the center console. I gave it a tune up as well.
When I took out the belt driven fan it runs way better now. See pics.

Dude, there is a dude in your back window.

You think you're soooooo cool with your spare change all organized... "Ooooh look at me with my well stored and not sticky 85 cents!" :annoyed:

Nice clean low mileage truck though. :icon_thumby:

Two Videos of Project Razda:

So the Ranger mirrors are larger than the Mazda mirrors?
Would the attachment mirrors not work on the Mazda mirrors?

Yes they are larger than the Mazda depending on the year and model I assume.
The attachments would not fit they were too large.

Here are the different mirror styles and there is a picture of my original mirror in the attachment.

Paddle style mirror that is specified on etrailer.com that will not fit.

The ones I installed that will work with the attachment from etrailer.com

The Stock mirrors that come on the truck minus the electronics. Note: etrailer.com does not specify this style mirror as not fitting, when I ordered there was no mention of them.

Stock mirror is too small to fit in attachment from etrailer.com.

Nice work. I really dont like the Mazda "paddle" style. Theyvseem to flop in the wind more. Thanks for explaining in more detail.

It has been a while since my last post for the Razda. To make a long story short, we moved to West Virginia six years ago. Then five years ago I found out I had bipolar disorder and then through changes of medicines and everything like that I lost interest on working on my truck doing things with my truck and all kinds of stuff but now that my medicine straightened out, I’ve started working on my truck again and there’s some things that I’ve done this year and then there’s some things that I did before remove to West Virginia that I did not post.
These are the new wheels and tires. I have also attached the old wheels and tires. My friend gave me the 15 inch Mustang wheels. They had tires on them when I got them, but one of them had developed a bubble and blue so I got new tires 225/75 R15.

My friend and I before we left to West Virginia built this hitch receiverfrom a Ford escape hitch my dad had. It has worked out pretty good. It was super easy to modify to fit on the range. The only crappy thing is mounting it on with the rear bumper kind of gotta have two people. I could probably do it by myself, but it would, it would be kind of difficult.

This is an aftermarket tire pressure monitoring system made by steel mate. I installed this before we moved to West Virginia. I hooked the TPMS to a relay and Dremel out a hole below the headlight switch for a 12 V socket .there’s still room to add more accessories below the headlight switch. This was not a hard install. The only thing that was somewhat hard was hooking it up to a relay. I have experience with relays so it wasn’t a big deal for me. this is not a super cool upgrade, but I love it because I have started the truck and drove 2 feet and it starts beeping at me because the tire has low air or is flat. It has more than paid for itself for me.

Here’s my current project. I bought this camper shell six years ago before I left Mississippi and I did nothing with it until now. You can see in some of the pictures that I have painted the frame for the back window, which is missing when I got the camper shell. It was covered in plastic and duct tape. I also painted the handles for the back window I had to install and modify an aluminum piano hinge for the back window because the original hinge was severely messed up. I’ve painted the frame on the actual camper shell for the back window. The back window and a side sliding window are missing. The side glass actually broke when I was trying to open and close it. It was really really hard to move and when I put a little bit of pressure on it and it gave away and hit the bottom and shattered. The exterior of the camper shell is in rough shape. It has been sitting underneath the closed in back porch and my father-in-law has sprayed the deck twice since I’ve lived here and overspray has gotten all over it. Fortunately it comes off really easy with 1000 grit or 1500 grit sandpaper. there is also some scuffs and peeling.
The goal for right now is to fix the windows touchup the peeling areas with some off-the-shelf automotive spray paint and once it’s finished, it will be installed on my truck. I was going to paint it with raptor liner, but I’ve ran into issues with my truck, struggling here in the mountains of West Virginia.
My truck‘s current gear ratio is 3.45. My goal is to either go with a ratio of 3.73 or 4.10.
