looks like a fun project. I just got done putting that exact body lift in except I went 3 inch lift, the 4 cab bolts fought me the whole way so I brought out the half inch breaker bar and a chunk of pipe.. good luck with your install

thx! I don't think i'm gonna install the body lift now that i'm goin down the C6 trail though.

Got mustang convertible 5L mounts
picking up a torque converter tomorrow
ordered a crown vic dual sump pan and pick up tube
Getting transfer case out of the shop end of the month (new gaskets, seals, and speedo gear)

after all that I'll have everything i need to slap the drive-train in

wellp... gonna rebuild the c6. just a banner kit. rock auto $100, sold! oh and a new band too, the wide one from... tci i think? the 18% wider jobby.

got my transfer case ready to rock but there was too much shit in the c6 pan for my liking, so refresh it is. and im doing it in my shed. lol. might film it, we'll see

apon further investigations, pretty sure shit fell into the trans dipstick hole.

so now the drivetrain is ready to be fitted!

now its time to start the few things i have to do to the 351
- flush\prime fresh oil through er
- water pump
- fit dual sump screen and pan
- replace harmonic balancer
- install 4brl intake
- install new thermostat housing and thermostat
- fit Trans Dapt oil filter relocation piece

oh and i think there is 3 broken exhaust manifold bolts stuck in the heads i have to fix.. thats the only part im dreading lol

also on second thought I'll do the water pump once the engine is bolted in lol

Modding some E7TE heads to replace the butt terrible D8 heads.
Polishing the combustion chambers and exhaust runners as well as removing the hump in the exhaust runners and blending the entrance right around the exhaust valve/exhaust runner entrance roof. I'll get new seals and lap the valve.
