These are the smallest if hail dents. I find it easier to use a razor blade as a bondo spreader

I meant to show the razor blade Hood has Ben done in 89 grit then 180 grit. Will start priming hood soon.

I used fiberglass on my welds. Sanding fiberglass is for the birds but must be done.

Starting in bed with just bondo. I did find a rust hole on wheel arch that will need to be welded in soon.

I did quite bit of work on the dash pad. It is drying now. I did run out of LMR paint but it does look better now The metal plate was primed and satin black to prevent glare

I ordered some sound deadner from Amazon. I plan on installing dash and sound deadner tomorrow. I should have the 12 dents primed and sanded down tomorrow. I use 80, 180, then 320 grit paper.

I am going to replace the front fenders. I will need some professional help on driver rear quarter of the bed.

Starting Friday until next Friday, I will be working over time so things will slow down again. Trying to get as much done until then.

Hood is down to 3 small imperfections. Doors are nearly done. Still have extended cab part to do.

Here I have my dash pad out.

Pictures out of order. I got my Sound deadner from Amazon. Will insulate doors later. Also got Risers for my bike to extend the handle bars. Funding two projects is a little slow.

Dash pad in for now. I need to order more interior paint and fix some tabs. Still far better then it was.

I have had it this way for a while.

More dents filled. The red is slowly disappearing. Still many more to go. I did my first oil change today. I had some oil flush in the motor. I am running Amsoil Synthetic. Hoping for 10 more horsepower. Motor was neglected so changing oil a little more often I am hoping to get motor clean. Of course I spilled oil ever. Just my talent.

Did you put an "Amsoil" sticker on the truck? When it comes to mods, it's the stickers that are what actually adds the horsepower. The bigger the sticker, the more power.

I still have some more work on the dash but it is far better then it was. Been a few set backs but still moving forward..

I may need to go for Nascar stickers, more power and hide dents.lol

I started to remove the sticker on the lower half. It is coming off slowly. I use paint thinner to get the glue off afterwards.

I only got 6 dents to pull out if tailgate Someone broke all the screw tabs off that hold the silver plate on. I want to reinstall it when I get truck painted. I did do a lot of long block sanding and still have some to do on the bed rail. I still need to repair some rust on wheel arches.

This is my daily driver now and some issues that have popped up is I am going to have to replace the Fuel Pump Assembly to get my Fuel Gauge to work correctly.

Also Front Wheel Bearings are moving up the list real quick.

Got caught in some rain. I have a windshield leak at the very top. When I paint, I will remove the windshield and find where the leak is at. I also want to replace the windshield.

Some work to do on bed rail and got down to the wheel arch mostly done on drivers side. Getting smoother. Got to finish getting glue off and repair rust in wheel arches.

What do you use for the stud welder? Is there something cheap and good ( I know, an oxymoron ) for those that would do bodywork very seldom? I might try using some arc welding rod and my welder, just open the rod holder when I think its stuck enough. Or maybe rig up some kind of foot operated relay for power to welder...
