The surface rust on the silver one need to be tended too before it get much worse. It'll be holey soon.

But very straight. That's rare for a first gen.

I am hoping to get back on the 87 soon. That rust is bothering me.

I did get my O2 sensor changed. Here I had a 7/8 box wrench to the front of motor.

I then was able to get my pneumatic air hammer/chisel and vibrate it enough to break the sensor loose. I could not get my O2 sensor socket on it. I will eventually buy a Crows Foot wrench in the future.

Here I am trying to show how I got it out.

My new sensor I am hoping is as good or better then factory. Truck not running any better with it replaced but still I now know condition of my sensors.

Here is the Battery Ground coming from battery. This is the Battery to Frame Ground. You can see how bad corrosion is.

Probably not going to get 50 more horsepower from cleaning it but it has to help some electrical flow.

This is the same cable that acts as Block to Battery Connection. I did not clean it today as it will be getting replaced this weekend if all goes well.

Got my Oil Change kit in. In hindsight I should of waited on oil and got rear shocks so I can get the bed back on. Molly checking things out. She slows me down in the shop but it is worth it.

I got $18 core charge so used that money to buy a Diff Gasket. Waiting on it to arrive today.

I drained the 1988 original gear oil out. It is nasty. Letting it sit and drain until new gasket arrives. I want as much of it out as possible.

I kind of did a dumb butt move. I removed the Diff Cover and then removed Fill Plug. I was getting worried it could strip using a ratchet and it would pull off side. I put the Impact Wrench in lowest setting and bumped it slowly. You can see where it wanted to round the plug in the corners.

I hate jacked up wiring. One of the biggest problems with electrical is Stereo Wiring or Trailer Wiring.

Got factory plugs I am installing back to the way it was and will buy the stereo adapter along with a new stereo.

Removing the Heater Core did not give me access to the debris. I had to work what I could a little at a time out from the Blend Door. The Blend Door did not want to move due to all the debris.

Once I got some movement I worked with the air hose, propped the door to different angles and pulled it out with shop vac, my hands or the air hose. I also kept blowing air thru the Cowl to work any debris that got blowed up.

Here is the screen. I was not going to cut it out as it would only let debris thru out the whole system.

Just some of the leaves I removed. There was more.
