this is a pic of my 86 danger ranger. 8in skyjacker lift 3in body lift 35/15's tsl super swamper's 4spd 4x4. I did the full 2.3 mustang svo turbo motor and harness swap. front mount intercooler, tial blow off, apexi safc, too much too list! the motor only had 70k miles on it. the motor, harness, computer, turbo, and sensor all great shape. only shelled out 300 for everyting! straight pipe. all u could hear was the turbo. miss this truck. plan on doin another one. had to get rid of it cause i join the marine corps  oh and in the mud you couldnt touch this thing cause when you hit 20 psi the mud starts to sling!

hey man, like what you did with the truck. I have a 87 ranger with a 4" suspension lift and am wanted to do 3" body. Do you know if a body lift effects brake lines? Im wanting to stay away from extending them cuz i am on a pretty tight budget right now. Thanks!

I put a 3" body lift on my 89 4x4. Only thing that it affected was the ebrake cable under the front corner of the cab. Ended up just cutting the cable off cause it didnt work anyway. Other than that all wires, brake lines, and steering linkage was fine. Though I gotta reach a little farther for my tranny shift lever (4spd) and my home brew tcase lever is about the same height as it :icon_rofl:

i had to bend new lines from the master cyl any way cause they were shot and the body lift. as from the caliper's i had braided stainless lines to the frame. if your good with a hand bender its easy and cheap.

Nice truck, Sucks you had to get rid of it though :bawling: Ive got an 89 4x4 that Ive had for 11 years now. Ive rolled the od twise and the rest of the truck once :headbang: Its pretty well bone stock as far as suspension. Has home brew 3" body lift and cut fenders to clear 35's. The straightest piece of sheet metal is the hood :icon_rofl: Seems everywhere I go it catches peoples attention and im constantly asked if I wanna sell it. Aint no way in hell thats ever gonna happen :thefinger: Hope ya get to build another soon.
