Alright, here it is! Don't laugh!:icon_rofl: I never said I was good at paint and I was in a hurry but you can get the general idea.:icon_thumby:

All the black parts are going to be done in herculiner, as well as the brush guard, roof rack and the rocker panels and fender flares The back and side and front windows will be chrome tint with a Ford oval on the back glass. It will also have a 289 in it.
What do you think:icon_confused:

I can dig it. Might look good if it gets done by a good paint and body man.

Thanks, I'm going to do it myself. Well see. It can't be that hard. It's just going to herculiner and white paint with some lettering?

Go get yourself a lot of transfer paper, some DX 330 a case of penicls, and some xacto blades. Oh, and sand paper, lots of sand paper.

It's not super hard, its more time consuming.

ROFL

Actually I think it'll look awesome once it is actually finished. I like the layout.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I thought about getting sheets of 3m and cut out the designs and stick them on and then herculiner over them and just take them off then it drys. It's called negative impression.
What's dx330?

If I may make a suggestion. Go to a sign shop and have them cut the reverses out in vinyl for you. Use them to block top coat paint and let the undercolor show through. It may cost as little $20 per side. It will save you a lot of time and frustration plus, it will look very professional. Best of luck!

I agree with 86slo-vo, just looks like there is too much of something... but to each his own :icon_thumby:

I would also suggest NOT using herculiner - just use paint. My '82 fullsize Bronco is completely covered in bedliner and it looks like SHIT. It is very hard to clean. I think the body on it might have been worth saving before the bedliner but now it is just a worthless heap.

Instead of the reverses I would get the whole thing made out of flat black vinyl.

I would skip that thing on the hood and the windshield banner too, but that is just me.

shran, what happens when you pressure wash the bed liner? doesn't it clean it? I thought about using silver instead of the black. It's not in concrete yet. I just thought the herculiner would look tough in contrast to the while paint. I'm definitely doing the rocker panels and the brush guard and maybe the rear bumper and the running boards on the bottom.
85, I thought about that, but I was thinking about when it started to peal or gets scratched 4wheelin and I hate dealing with air bubbles??

The wind shield is just a motorcraft banner, and I'm going to put a ford oval on the back windows.

Some of it peels off and the rest looks dirty all the time. It seems like it gets dirt worked into it that doesn't come out. Maybe it is just faded, I dunno what type of bedliner was used and the overall condition of the vehicle suggests that it wasn't prepped at all.

It was also a victim of paintballing. I haven't tried to pressure wash it off but none of it has come off in the rain over the last few months.

I think bedliner can look cool on certain areas of the vehicle like the rockers and around the wheel wells. I'm sure it can be done tastefully elsewhere, just be careful. I wouldn't wish the bedliner job that's on my Bronco on anyone else.
