My $400 Ranger...1988 XLT

We have always been a Ford Family...my dad had a 1987 Standard Cab ranger growing up...An `89 Tempo (Tempo should have been called Temp....as it was a Temp. solution to getting something better)..My mom drove a Mazda Protege for a while...My wifes family has always had Fords....And to top it all off, we each have an Explorer...I am no stranger to the Ford Explorer....

I have swapped a 5.0L into my `92.
I have also installed Cobra Brakes on the Early Split Pin Spindle
I have grafted Early Mustang Hood Scoops into the Hood of my `92Here is the original build thread

I bought it off of a friend who got it in trade for some construction work. He broke the steering column trying to move it, he replaced the fuel pumps...and still couldn't get it running....the bed was removed when I got it....all the pieces were there...

I was able to fix it for FREE. I didn't spend a dollar getting it running again! I have driven it around the block...it runs good!

I was going to put it behind the tail lamp, and hinge the lense...but I could never find a hinge that was compact, AND articulated the housing out to clear the slight curve in the area...

I had to heat the plastic 'body to fuel filler neck adapter' up enough to massage it enough get a nice flat surface to mount the keypad....it sounds easier than it actually was!
