My 2023 2 door Big Bend 😎

Alright.. here's a few pictures. It's all cloudy and dumb out so I didn't bother with much.

Grommet/plug missing from firewall behind brake booster lol. Perfect size for a squirrel to crawl through.. gonna slap some tape over It for the meantime.

Big Bend sticker on driver's side is crooked. Never would of noticed if it wasn't pointed out to me....

..some poorly applied weather seal along the front of the removable top.

More marketing on the lower drivers windshield..

Made the start button resemble one of the headlights..

Inspirational AF little clip of the sun going over this picturesque mountain pond ending with a nice starry night when you open the door lol

I'll have to make a video of all the little different animations that happen on its screens.. super amusing.

That first picture you provided. It looks like there is nothing protecting the wiring from the sheet metal where it goes through. Not an immediate problem but could be a chafing issue in the future.

The hole they run through looks odd shaped. So, installing a protective grommet could be a problem. Maybe you can make a grommet out of RTV?

I didn't even notice that one.. thank you. I'll take a closer look and see what the deal with that is tomorrow once it's done raining.

The 2022 F150 I sent back had allllllll kinds of missing pieces / final assembly issues. My favorite one was half of the grounds under the hood were left disconnected. That was cool. I think that's just Ford nowadays tbh.

They're definitely slipping.. no doubt about it.

Flowmaster Outlaw series muffler delete installed 😎 super easy. Unsure why they bothered to polish the tip... it's completely out of sight lol.

Tone and external volume seem about on par with the AFE muffler delete I had on the truck.. but I havnt got it out on the road to see what the in-cabin noise level is yet. Probably more than in the ranger.. considering the exhaust dumps out right underneath the passenger area rather than 5' behind it.

Whoa! The muffla fell off the Big Bird!

Glad that you have a warranty. :)

Muffler delete is indeed louder in cabin than it was on the Ranger, but.. like the ranger... really only during acceleration. At steady cruising speed you can't tell anything's been done to the exhaust.

I'm happy with it. I'm many years past the point in my life where I enjoyed having a deafening daily driver.. but a silent daily driver is no fun..

For 136$ shipped to my door, this was the perfect way to give the Bronco just the right amount of sass. 👍👍

And here I thought the advantage of a new vehicle was nothing to fix.
Making me wish I'd asked more about the Bronco down the street, gone now. It looked kinda beat so looked like more of a project than I wanted. But I think I saw it driving around the other day and I was like, well, it drove off the lot ok, maybe I should have taken a closer look at it.
That's the place like really close when I was walking I got the Mazda there. I think he buys stuff at auction and does whatever is the minimum to get them to pass inspection. Mazda he said he didn't do anything to it, an exception. I had a laundry list of stuff I did on it, nothing serious though. Kind of an interesting guy he has Afgan/US dual citizenship and was active with US Special Ops Forces there.

Oh.. theres always something to "fix" on a brand new vehicle.

Whether it be adding a firewall plug that was clearly missed on the assembly line.. or making it louder/lower/higher/faster... theres much work to be done!

My mother ALWAYS gives me guff about immidealty messing with my new vehicles.. "Oh William.. you just bought the thing.. what could you possibly need to do already.. why didn't you just buy something that came the way you wanted... blah blah blah"

She doesn't understand 🙄 NOTHING leaves the factory exactly how I would want it.

I even tried explaining it to her in a way that I figured that even SHE could understand... by asking "why did you build your own house... instead of buying one all finished/furnished/and ready to go?"

Right over her head 😑

She grew up in Rhode Island though.. so.. 😂 reminding myself of that more often would probably lead to a better relationship with the woman lol.

There's always going to be things to mess with that's for sure. I know I am with mine.

285/75r18 Kenda Klever RT's will be getting ordered tomorrow.

Making an appointment to get rust proofed on Friday. A guy in my town does NHOU, figured I'd give him a try due to proximity.

Lift&tires will be going on ASAP after the tires arrive 🙂

The wheels on the bus go round and round...
