My 2023 2 door Big Bend 😎

Kimball's was a '66 the windshield folded down.
Kind of a pos compared to new ones but I bet they were simple as a tinker toy. worth a lot now for a nice one.

I wouldn't mind a Bronco but it'd have to be an old one. Don't know what years are good, there was one down the street I forget year it was pretty beat looking though.

1990 Ford Bronco | eBay at current price seems decent
Did you just call early body style Broncos pieces of shit? BLASPHEMY!!!! Best trucks Ford ever made.

Nice color choice.

Alright so I just ate way too many burgers.. more pictures aren't happening tonight 🍔🍔🍔

I will give my 130ish mile review though lol.

It's sweet.

Between driving it home 100 miles at 80mph and my 20 mile 50mph round trip to work and back today it's averaging 20.6 mpg 👍

The hood has a hard time holding its shape at speeds above 70 or so 😋 but the view over the hood from the drivers seat.. super boxy.. trail sights.. man.. it's totally bitchin.

The doors are massive, so are their windows. EXTREMELY good side visibility. Front visibility Is definitely reduced from the ranger.. the rear view mirror and the frontal collision camera create a pretty decent blindspot for me. Out the back is nice.. about what you'd expect.

I miss the ranger side mirrors..

Comfy.. super ergonomically laid out regarding controls and such. The window switches are in the front of the center console thing thanks to removable doors... that's gonna take time to get used to lol.

The speakers lack in clean mid/bass kinda bad in my opinion. Probably due to their size? The Bronco speakers are kinda small because they're tucked away in odd places.. and I don't believe small speakers are very good at punchy bass. I mostly listen to varying genres of metal.. so I'm very much missing feeling (and even properly hearing) the kick drums.. pretty important part of the experience. Ranger speakers.. way better. That truck would "thump" for a base ass setup.

The back seat bottoms pull up, and the seat backs can be folded forward more or less flat... loads of room for the dog now. He loves it!

Ford really went wild hiding little "Easter eggs" everywhere.. these'll be things I get pictures of. Lots of cool little touches.

Wind noise? Yes. Not terrible though.

Absolutely in love with the thing. When i got home I actually used some bug&tar remover and a microfiber to clean my hood of butt-droppings from a very careless bird... id usually just wait until I hit the car wash lol. She might even get wiped down with some quick detailer this weekend 😎 that paint SHINES!

For having a shorter Wheelbase than a civic, it doesn't ride as bad as I figured it would.. compared to my truck. 80mph down the turnpike and yeah.. you kinda float about a little like it's really windy.. but bridge abutments and other cracks/bumps/dips even at highway speed are definitely taken care of nicely by the suspension.

And again.. the wheelbase.. pretty sure it's over 2' shorter than the ranger... it feels like I'm driving a flea lol. Corners way different.. super tight. This thing is gonna be mfkn AWESOME offroad!

If I were to buy a brand new truck, this would be the one. it's radically different from all the rest out there. A new true blue lightweight truck worthy of its name.

You'd do good with a bronco I'm sure, you'd definitely keep it tip-top and shiny. I'm gonna feel way worse brushing up against a branch with this when I go wheeling than I did with the ranger... it's so pretty lol.

OH! OH OH OH!

The broncos actually make a decent bit more power than the rangers too 😎

the ranger makes 270/310 on SUPER.. if you run it on 87 like I did it'll only make 240/270ish

The Bronco is 275hp and 315ft lbs ON 87!

If you wanna fill it with jungle juice it'll make 300hp and 325 ft lbs 🤗 I'm definitely gonna try a few tanks of the fancy gas once it's broken in. I havnt got into it too much yet.. but between those figures and being 6-700lbs lighter than the ranger.. things gonna scoot!

My nephew has one. He works for Ford.

Call me crazy, but I would give it a clay bar job to remove the microscopic brake dust contaminants that have already accumulated from the train and truck ride over, then a quick mild buff, then a ceramic wax. That paint job will actually look better. More importantly a ceramic wax will keep it cleaner and shinier longer. And you can always buff those minor scratches out.

Sarah-n-Tune bought a Bronco. She's done a number of YouTubes on it, well worth the watching.

Ive thought about some clay bar action.. dunno if I have it in me though lol. I'm not wired for super detail-y type stuff. I think a spray wax is about the tops of what I could get myself into without going mad and regretting my decision.

it's your baby. BUT a clay bar actually makes the painted surface more slippery...and that helps prevent minor scratches. A ceramic spray wax is just a little more time consuming than a detailer. And you will get that time back with needing fewer washes.
I never got into this before either...until I got a black truck.

Sweet looking ride.

I don't know though... it seems as if something is a little off. OH, I know. no V8! LOL

This ones the most powerful bronco to date 🙂 well... besides the 2.7s.. and the raptor.. 😋

But yeah, definitely missing a bit of nostalgia in the motor department. Lots of people would of been ecstatic about a factory 5.0 rig.

I had a couple three first Gen Broncos... none of them made the power you have under your hood.

Well, Eric, I guess I just meant in terms of one would *think* a 2023 would be more "advanced" than 1966, but I'll take your word on that. But I suspect a good '66 is quite pricey.
I can't remember what show it was but I remember as a kid people driving those old Broncos and I always thought they were cool with the top off.

Advanced isn't always better. I would easily take an early Bronco over anything Ford is selling right now. I can drive with the windows open in the summer. I do it with my Ranger. Add a nav system and maybe a satellite radio receiver or something to play songs off my USB drive and that's all the advancement I need. Pop a cup holder on the door and I'm ready for the Rubicon.
