My 2006 2WD Ext. Cab

Sweet truck man! Hopefully this summer I find out if I'll be in Ontario for a bit and hopefully see it in person!

Bought a set of Chev 64's last week. Have the hardware, new bushing installed, and the know how of three guys helping me tomorrow get crackin on it. My Mcneil order goes in Monday, we are just waiting for the qoute from BC Supertrucks. Doing a mulit order, so were getting a break on the shipping.

after the 64's, i'll be looking at some shocks out back, depending on how the ride is. I'm 100% game to save some $$$, so if its even a bit better ill say screw it for the time being. once the glass is painted and on the truck, I gotta decide if i even want to lift it more, or just leave it. Im at the point where more lift is going to get very costly.

This thing rides like a DREAM. it still needs a few finishing touches, but its 90% done.

no pics of bed removal, but we do have from that point on.

total cost was just under 200 for leafs(kit), 130 for shocks. 330 all in. :)

Also greased my slip yoke with moly, and it got rid of all the clunks and noise and rattles isve been having! if you have any driveline noise, DO THIS FIRST.

What's the point of swapping the 64s? Does it make it ride better or does it level out the back with the front?

it rides much better, it flexes buch further, you get a lift without blocks and your capacity goes up to 1500 #'s.

Alright, photo shoot. I could help myself.

hmm I might have to look into that then, although I don't really wanna do anything to the front other than crank the t-bars.

Next for the truck will be an exhaust, paint on the fenders, a new front valance to replace the broken one, and a wider rear axle. Once the wider axle is in, i MAY consider some bedsides, but until then ill pull my stock ones.

going to think over the idea of coils up front. i dont wanna lift, but id like more travel... my ideal would be camburg 2.5 coils, camburg 2.0 kit and fox emulshion 2.0's w/8" travel. then out back ill have to re-arch my leafs to keep a good stance. id also do the camburg gusset kit to keep it all together. i found out what im getting back on my taxes, and between that and my birthday money from last week, i think i can cover it. Now to decide...
