Decided to take on a b2 project, here's what I have so far.

Got myself an 89 b2 for $680 ran good had the normal mn rust for being 20 years old, figured it'd make a good winter truck. Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone. got a new fender($100) to replace the rusted out one, ordered a 3" body kit from summit($130), got a set of rims with 31 by 10'5 tires off an 87 ranger with fender flares($350).Started doing the body lift, removed the rear bumper and to my surprise the passenger sinde leaf spring had 2 broken elelets and the rear hangers was rusted through(new set with hardware $130, and they forgot to tell me they dont bolt up without elongating the top 2 holes), I found a set of explorer leaf's($60) might as well grab the coils too($20). The explorer leafs are the right legnth but the bolts are smaller(1/2" i think) and after changing the center bolt around it still didnt line up with the axle hole(the grinder fixed that or ruined it will find out when Im all done).

Thats as far as I got this week(amazing how much time a 3 month old takes up) will keep up dating this as i progress. If you have any pointers or need to know how I did something just let me know.
Thanks:icon_hornsup:

Hey looks good now chop da top lol working on mine got new gas tank in and it runs and is smooth going to put ranger bed rails on soon

Was thinking after this winter of cutting the top off, if I do I'm going to see if I can chop a ranger topper down to fit the back(never seen it done but seems doable).

Not gonna close in the cab just want to cut up an aluminum topper to put on the back(the best of both worlds if I can make it work)

Ahhh gotcha sometimes I read things too fast. That would be cool too, then it would be kind of like a full size bronco with a removable back top. That would be awsome!!!

theres a green bronc on the forumof lifted broncs and a guy has a topper he want to sell

Ok i went back to look for it forum post a picture of your lifted bronc post # 89 hope this will work or you can mod it

Got the rear leafs in(pain in the butt had to grind 3 of the 4 hangers off do to rust and a broken bolt). Also did the 3" body lift with new poly mounts. Now I just have the front coils to do and start prepping the body for paint.
