My 1997 v6 4.0L has no power

I started up my truck this morning, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary until i started down the road. I have like zero power, no accel at all, it took me like a whole minute to get to 50mph. I took it mudding this weekend if that could have anything to do with it. anybody got any ideas on what could be going on? i'm scared for my truck

Check the air filter? Parking brake stuck?

Yea I'm gonna check the air filter today....I'm pretty sure the parking brake isn't stuck, but that would be an easy fix, i wish that was it. I'm just hoping its not something really messed up with it.

I took it to a mechanic today and he thinks its a clogged exhaust....does anyone have any input??

Have you washed out everything since mudding?

did it suck up any water?

auto or manual?

how many miles?

what is the service record?

we need tons of more info to help any

well take the exhaust loose at the cat and see if it makes a difference

Clogged exhaust... Well its either a crushed in or restricted part which i believe the mechanic probably would have picked up or its the Cats or the muffler.

if its a manual then you might have a cracked flywheel when mine cracked it seemed like i had no power...but itd be a whole lot easier if it just your exhaust...sawzall time baby!lol

yes i have washed it since, its auto, 139k miles
