My 1986 Ranger on 35's!

Looks sweet! How hard was the engine swap as far as wiring goes. I have a 2.3 with 33s and 410s and I seriously lack power. I'm looking for motor upgrades and that's a different route to take!

Beautiful truck! This is pretty much exactly how I want my 84 to end up, except with the 302 that's already in it hahah. How much time and money do you have in the whole project?

Thanks guys! Its sad to say the truck currently has no engine. I was tired of not having any low end power. I've been trying to decide what engine I want and decided to go with a 302. I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine. I've been working over 12+ hours a day for the last 4 months so its been slow.

I'll have to respond to everyone's questions when I get home on my computer.

What did you use for front blinkers and how did you mount them in the grill? I ask because it is clean and I am about to put my new bumper on and it sits right where the factory blinkers do. Thanks!

The front bumper is Smittybilt off of a Cherokee. I wanted something that sat flush against the grille. I didn't have time to fab my own bumper so this was easiest. I will warn you it was a huge pain to mount it. I cut off the frame and welded a 1/4" plate all the way across, then I had to cut off the front body mounts on the frame and I attached the bumper with bolts.

The turn signals are mounted with a plexiglass lens on the front epoxied in place. Drilled a hole in a piece of sheet metal for the bulb and mount (pops into sheet metal) then epoxied the curved sheet metal to the back of the opening. If that makes sense?

Damn she came a long way since i seen her last. We'll have to go wheelin someone when you have a motor and i get a capable rig

I figured I would I would have to weld the 1/4" to the middle of the frame rails. So how did you set the front body mounts back up? I wanted to have a bumper that mounted right up against the grille. The panel where where blinkers it seems like uneccessary space to me.lol

you say you got the flares from pacer? Got a link? They will look sweet on my B2

You can get the stuff from summit I believe. If I'm right there's no specific modell they go with. It's a roll of it and you shape it the way you want.
