muffler for 3.0

i didnt want to post this in exhaust because people with 4l AND 2.3 will try to tell me. but what muffler would give my 3.0 a deep throaty sound... or is that just a dream with a 3L? i want it loud, but not illegal! thanks

magnaflow muffler is what i have on my truck its got a nice deep sound from 1000 to 3000 rpm then its get into that kinda winedy deep sound but still really nice sounding.

i also heard that the flowmaster series mufflers works well ya mytruck is also a 3L 2

flowmaster 40 series? or lower. i had a 40 series on my mustang.... that was loud!

40 series for deep sound, it woundn't be very loud with stock cats/pipe. A coworker had a 3.0 with a single cat, flowmaster 40 and headers with 2 1/2" pipe, it was decently loud and sounded pretty good.

Youtube has many different configs on 3.0 mufflers. I have magnaflow vids and cherrybomb extreme vids on there. There are many different types to mufflers on 3.0's on youtube to choose from.

yeah, but its almost sounds distorted on you tube, i dont know if its my speakers or just how ever it was recorded.... plus i get sick of watching people set the camera down, take 5 mins to get in, start it, rev it 20 times. (try searching mustang exhaust) i havent seen your videos though, maybe i should watch.

although a lot of you are suggesting the 40series!
