so about two weeks ago i found a fist sized hole in my muffler.
I decided should probably replace it and went down and bought a new one and some clamps from napa. by the time i got the new one it was dark so i figured that id do i the next day.

well the next day it was raining and i didnt feel like riding my bike to school, so i drove the truck. Of course just as i pull into the school parking lot the damn thing falls off and jams into the ground. So the truck stopped and stalled. I get out of the truck to see whats up and i find the muffler now jammed vertically into the ground with the tailpipe twisted into a pretzel and the truck is darn near high- center on the muffler.

With the help of some of the other truck guys i was able to kick it free. I took one of my cargo straps and used it to pull the muffler and stuff up to the body so i could drive it into a parking spot.

and of course the whole time everyone is driving buy saying stuff about found on road dead. I took it pretty well until some chevy guy said something about f---ing ford, should bought a real truck. God i wish i coulda punched him in the head...

So after school i borrowed a hack saw from the shop teacher ( you shoulda seen the look he gave me when i asked) and i cut the tailpipe and muffler's remains free and through them in the truck bed and drove to the muffler shop.

It sure sounds cool without the muffler but it she tries hard to stall.

Only cost 130 buck for the new muffler and tailpipe. I woulda sworn it woulda been more but the guy at the shop was cool.

host them on a car domain or a myspace or photobucket account. Then click the little tan box with the mountains and add the link of the photo. To find the link of the photo (if car domain or myspace) right click scroll down to properties. It should list the link.
