muds or all terrains?

With gas prices the way they are I wouldn't get a mud tire unless I needed it.

They are cheaper and they last longer, and really some are aggresive enough to more than likely save your tail if you do get into trouble.

the first time you get stuck in some thing stupid with A/Ts your gunna wish you got mud trains.

I have been rolling on A/T's for years and have yet to get stuck. Mud, snow whatever, just admit to yourself that you can't handle anything more than a couple inches deep. From a foot of snow to 6" of mud they are good enough for the typical person with 4x4.

Getting tires because of looks isn't the best way to shop for tires.

I do know there have been times as I drag all four muds up to a stop sign in snow I wish I would have gotten A/T's on my Ranger.

I've had ZERO issues with my ProComp's. Wearing well even with a less than perfect alignment. Keep in mind that their M/T and M/T Extreme are different tires.

Are you running the M/T's or the Extreme's. The X's look like a really good tire, nice side lugs, good tread pattern......

It saves money for other projects... like my Ranger. I don't like spending money on things I dont really need. Plus it keeps the truck better for towing.

i run pro comp a/ts for summer an a set of mudders for winter.. i do notice my mileage goes up with the a/ts an a lot better ride.. much smoother an quiete... ive had zero problems with mine an would definitely purchase another set.

muds.... may not perform on road as well as a/ts, but way better offroading anyday, good tire decision

Anyone know have anything to say about the Toyo Open Country M/T's?
