mud tires have no traction in rain!

so i have roughrider mud terrain tires

Isn't that the Canadian Tire brand of tire? Maybe that can explain some of this.

I've never heard of that brand of tire. I have very old Kumho MTs on mine and rain or ice have not been a problem. They aren't as good as an all-season on those surfaces so you have to drive accordingly. I think you just have shit tires and probably any good MT would restore happiness.

My almost new Toyo M/T's are pretty good in the rain, but I credit that to that fact that are siped from the factory.

Yes they are. IMHO Rough Rider tires are not the best. Too hard of rubber.

get a few sand bags and fill them babies up and then position them over the rear axle and wheel wells it works like a charm, i run the 31x10.50x15 procomp muds and they do the same thing the sand bags really helped

My truck has the very same tires with a 4.0,, if I try hard enough I can get them loose but under normal driving they are just fine.. Motomaster tires I believe are made by Bridgestone

i run buckshots here in fla where is rains alot, and when it rains it rains, and i dont have any issues, doesnt pull in puddles either
