Greetings All,
I have a 1998 Ford Ranger Extended Cab.
I drive a Transit for work all over the State of Arizona. I see ventilated mud flaps on Semi Trucks.
I am curious, is there any reason NOT to remove the Mud Flaps on my Ranger?
Are there Ventilated Mud Flaps for a 1998 Ranger?
Is there any advantage to remove the stock ones?
It is driven primarily City and Highway.
Thank you,
Michael

They help prevent rock chips both on your truck and others around you.

Never heard of ventilated mud flaps, most semi trucks have dual tires with an air space between them. The point may be to let the air going between the tires flow thru the mudlfap. On a truck with a single tire there would be no air gap so it isn't a big deal.
