Mud Flap Questions

Hey guys, so I got a 1994 Ranger 4.0 4x4. It's got mud flap brackets in the back, so I'm gonna do some homemade flaps out of big rig flaps. But I was Wondering where you guys mounted your front flaps at. Pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help, love the site, got a ton of ideas, just gotta find the money, and all thanks to you guys.

I had a 93 parts truck that way and the front flaps were screwed right on the inside rim of the front fenders.

Upon further reading, rather than skimming, what it sounds like is yours were just installed using sheet metal screw. That's what I was hoping to get away from, I was looking more for something like the rear bracket where it's just bolted on.

you would probably have to fab one up.

i was thinking about doing the same thing as the ones that i had on my 88 have started to come out i think just from being so old....

i can't imagine it would be too hard to fab up some 1/8" sheet metal to match the curve and width of the lip of your wheel well.

I will post up pics of my 96 ranger hope it help and i took off my front mud flaps because i hate them and they get in the way when i worked on the truck so i took them off..

The '93-'97 trucks have factory front mudflap brackets that I recall bolted to the underside of the cab floor.
