Once I find me a Ranger I've narrowed down my tire seach to these few MT's
These aren't just for looks either, will be used weekly not a lot of paved roads.

CHEAP MT's

Federal MT
Treadwright Guard Dog (looks like old Goodyear MTR)
Green Diamond Tire (looks like Yoko Geolander MT)

Not so cheap MT's

Super Swamper radial TSL
" " " SSR
Other?

Anyone have comments/experience (good or bad) on any of these? Or would U suggest another MT for the ranger?

I picked up 32" kenda klever mt's off eBay for $598 shipped. And so far I love them. I've abused them in rocks, mud and sand and they've done very well so far.

Only complaint could be road noise but I don't care about that because its a trail rig.

Big fans of the Duratracs but want something more aggressive for mud. Duratracs I've seen load up in mud somewhat. I'll check out the Kenda's.

Kenda's look similar to the MTZ's. Not bad. Still want something more agressive. Some don't like the hum of MT's but if they do what I want offroad they can not only hum on pavement but they can "ganster rap" as far as I'm concerned! And I hate G. rap.

Look at Kelly Safari TSR if the Wranglers are not enough

Yup, looked at those for my Ram 2500 but waiting for my Cooper AT3's to wear out first. Still want something more aggressive...

Mine haven't loaded up yet

I've seen Duratracs load up quite often here in PA. Lots of guys run them on their trucks (lot of gas drillers from Texas) and on their small dump trucks too.
Considered using them since they do well in mud, hwy., and even are snow rated. Very good tire but I still need great mud traction. Mud we have here isn't very deep, usually less than a foot or so, but it's usually very greasy on top with a harder bottom. Wide tires flat out suck in the stuff! If I had a hot V8 I could run wide tires and I might get away with it. Narrower the tire the better, especially on the lightweight, low power stockish Rangers.

This is true I've been finding that out the hard way. I wanted the widest tire I could get for the stance and the guy talked me down to a 10" truthfully my 6" long trails ran better through some of the mud. But I try to stay away from mud now since it f****s stuff up

With my business I can't avoid mud. I do soil testing for building sites in rual PA and need to travel old and overgrown logging roads or make them myself with a backhoe or my truck bushwhacking. These roads are often steep and muddy. Since I bought my Ram 2500 quadcab longbed it's been a real struggle to reach sites. Now I walk more carrying equiptment. Can't wait to get a little ranger to haul for me where the big Ram can't dream of going.

KM2's
General Grabbers (red letter ones)
Goodyear MTr's with Kevlar
Duratrac's

more so the KM2's and MTr's for mud... the other 2 are great all around options.

Kevlars are not a mud tire....trust me. You have to spin them 60mph to clean out.

Go with KM2s and be done with it.

I've seen a set of Federal MT today and they look friggin' awesome. Reviews are mixed, great in mud, sidewalls splitting here and there so who knows...? Cannot go wrong with Interco Super Swampers but $ is an issue. Not sold on Goodyear MT/R with Kevlar yet. Most pics I've seen of those have been in the dry desert on rocks and the ones with mud they are all packed and are slicks. I wish the offroad magazines would do their tire testing outside of friggin' California as to get real world results elsewhere in the US. Pisses me off! Soil in Cali is much coarser (sand/grit) than the rest of the country who actually have more silt and clay into the mix. If U see a mud tire test done in Cali, take it with a grain of salt. If mud tire A works well in the mud of the midwest/eastern woods or in the bogs of the south then tire A will work anywhere on the planet where there is mud. Cali, really guys? Rant over....
When I settle on a set of tires I WILL give U all a real world test of them on here.
