I saw a thread earlier in reference to MRE Books, person purchased engine swap book from them, had they received book ,I was going to order one from them .jbronco89
Has anyone on this forum ever purchased any books fr MRE books Website,I was thinking about purchasing a book from them called ,the Ranger and Bronco 2 v-8 conversion, was curious on how their service was ,any feed back on this would be greatly appreciated thanks ,getting geared up to put a 302 in a 84 ranger,jbronco89.
Gotta admit, I've no hands on with the book but for the price, I'm not sure you really could go wrong.
I suspect all the relevant information is available on a handful of forums, this one included, was certainly the case for my own '02 Ranger conversion but having a printed reference certainly wouldn't hurt.
From my own experience, a V8 Ranger is a truck Ford should have brought to market.
If you search threads here on trs, I'm sure you'll find more than enough info to perform the swap, and for free. This swap has been performed literally every way possible. Hundreds of V8 swaps have been done here, if not thousands...
Thing I have been most anxious about is the wiring. I suck at wiring. And I will be running a carb. I gutted my engine bay about 5 years ago and labeled about 75% of the harnesses. We shall see.
What company has the most reasonably priced conversion kit for swapping a 302 into an 84 ranger please give part #and company, getting ready to start this project this summer ,looking for info on parts ,J B.
