2003 4L 4x4 egde 5speed not sure what kind of mpg i should be getting the last time i did the math i only got like 14 and im not driving it hard usually shift around 2500RPMs i did the seafoam thing and ran some injector cleaning in could there be a sensor bad or something

Fuel milage depends on lots of things. First off how many miles are traveled before the engine cools down. Then how many stop and goes in each trip.
Also of course the driver participation in fuel savings.
Then the vehicle.. Is it geared for hiway and it is driven around town? Is it geared for town and driven on the hiway?
Has the owner installed taller tires?
Has the owner installed several so called "performance modifications?
Does the owner have a clue as to how to figure milage?
Ya gotta take these things into consideration to know if your ride is doing what it should in the economy department.
But all things considered your 4X4 should get between 14 and 22..

Is the check engine light on? Does it run good or does it seem sluggish ect?

245/70r16 4.10 gears i know how to figure out gas mileage i just was hoping what i was coming up with wasnt true i have heard some people say that they are getting clost to 18-19 city and didnt know if that was true or just some BS......

On all highway trip I do about 23-24mpg. That's at 60mph, cruise set.
I don't know about city, but I'm guessing somewhere between 17-19mpg.

That's with a 2006 4.0L 4x4, bone stock.

I have a '99 4.0 4x4 ext cab xlt, dead stock with a Leer cap .I get between 14 and 17 mixed hwy/city.

I'm about with Joe. I cannot remember getting less than 15 and most times 17
or 18. My best was a west Texas I-10 trip following a mobile home (slow) and I got 22 mpg. But that isn't at all my average hiway driving.

You're in the ballpark. I have a 1992 with a A4LD but otherwise the same. Used for short in town trips it gets about 16. Perfect tune.
