Moving my Supercharged V-8 setup in spring

Moving to SCT and Pro-Racer software I'm thinking. And I'm using Sniper Special Forces currently for tuning. It is far from stock.
I was talking about junking the stock computer setup, a standalone is way more tunable, the stock stuff really wasn't meant to be used with boost.

all 96 V-8 explorers were AWD, after that it was an option (Never was a 4X4 V-8 explorer from the factory I'm sure you already gathered)

I'd stick with 2wd, the AWD systems are heavy and not designed to take 400+ Ft/lb torque launches. Sports have AWD from the factory very commonly, don't think many/any came with a true 4X4 system.

I have heard of a couple V8 2wd's floating around though.

Didn't know about sports being AWD, my main scheme with that plan was aimed at a std cab shortbox Ranger to keep the CG lower.

There are plenty of V8 2wd explorers, 1997-2001 4 doors.

There are no factory V8 2 doors, and no factory 2wd V8s in 1996.

SOOOO Gawddamned hot with the Cobra rims, no roof rack, and the Aero spoiler IMO.

*This one's only a V-6*

There's another forum I'm on, explorerforum.com and there's several people on there that have converted a Explorer Sport to V8 and I'm pretty sure a few of them were 2wd. Might want to look there for a few ideas. I think it's a good idea, go for it!

I am on there as well. Could only find 3 of them, 1 awd, and 2 4x4, no 'street' trucks

Oh well, sorry, I would have thought there was more. I guess it seems like there's more when you're not really looking for them...

Well, the ranger is offically in the garage for the season... Time to start the teardown.
