Well all settled in for the long haul at school, just moved into my new digs in Vernon BC, and more or less wondering if there is anyone on here from the area on here? Anyone who knows the area well?

i know the area, but i'm on haida gwaii now.quite different from campbell river, isn't it.you've gone right from the rainforest into the desert.

Haha gwaii you got that right. I'm excited for the winter though (I am certifiably insane fyi) Snow wheeling is generally not something us Islanders are used to. I was looking on youtube and seen a couple mentions of a place called dixon dams? ever been up that way? One thing I didn't care for too much on the island was the trails just wide enough for a zuk, and that it was all rocks. For stock-ish wheeling, rocks are nasty! I like my rockers in one piece thank you very much!

not familliar with dixon-but it was a long time ago i wheeled there, too.snow wheelin is fun there,as it's the dry powdery stuff, not the wet heavy slop you would be used to....and it hangs around for more than a couple of hours, too.like from october till april.then it gets real hot.
