It should without any real issues. I do know you will have to swap certain parts. The base block and rotating assembly, heads, oil pan, lower intake etc (the complete donor engine as a long block) will be needed. The electronics should be swapped out from the original engine to the donor engine... including injectors. Best thing to do is put both engines side by side (on the ground) and compare the original to donor and swap as necessary.
