Too bad I didn't see this threat 6mo ago. I could've told you you got a FWD pan just by looking at that picture.
One of the motor mount bosses is probably present but un-drilled. That's one of the telltale signs of an FWD block. If you have overheating problems it's probably because the FWD head gaskets are the wrong orientation for RWD coolant flow.
