Hey guys I was working on my dads 2003 4x2 auto.

The motor mounts and tranny mount was shot. I took apart the front end on both sides and let the lower control arms hang. Then I realized I gotta run to harbor frieight to get a spring compressor to remove the springs to get to the inside bolts on the mounts. So i went on to the tranny mount. Wow what a pain, it woulda been simple if I didnt buy the duralast tranny mount. The bolt holes didnt line up to the tranny, and the threaded studs didnt line up with the rangers cross member! lol... So i used some carbide bits and made the slots a little better and lined everything up. Has anyone had that issue with their tranny mount? Part number matched up and everything.

So The passenger side motor mount is easy once that spring is removed.
But then when I was looking at the drivers side its looking like a bitch with the steering column in the way. The other thing is its on a exteded mount it seems and theres a bolt inside there.
This brings me to my questions, lol.
Do i even need to remove the drivers side spring?
Is there some sort of pop plug inside the drivers side to get access to that bolt when the spring is removed?
I dont own stubby wrench's so will regular craftsman wrenches work? or while im at harbor frieght what tool did u guys use to get the drivers side off? ill pick it up while im there.
