Motor mounts

somebody gave me a new driverside motor mount for my 91 ranger with the 2.9l that came out of a 2nd gen bronco 2 of unknown year.
From everything I've read there was a change in 1990 on the driverside motor mount. What is different and can I use the older mount in my newer truck?

Take the old one off and if they are zackly the same us it..

I already have the old one out but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet to compare the two. The old one is pretty mangled too, I figured I would ask while I waited to get home
