hey guys hows it going been having some issues with the truck lately thought id stop in see if i can get some help here before i go crazy on it.

lately truck has been stalling alot, yesterday i left house would only do 10mph, pulled over sounded like battery was completely dead then bang fired up and had power could go as fast as i needed? sorta was having issues starting to it seemed..

another thing when starting it doesnt wanna stay going seems like i gotta keep foot on gas so i thought it was something to do with fuel pumps? or something as it only takes 20 in gas i always gotta put 5 10 in with gas can but was told it could be sensor?, i was thinking fuel filter who knows when last time its been done but im new dont really know to much but im trying.

i didnt gap the plugs i put in months ago and it seemed like it didnt start as well after etc but it ran for months until now.... ahh any help would be awesome as im running outta options as of lately..

Little hard understanding you there. Don't mean to be a prick, but a little punctuation goes a long way.

Anyways, i'd start by double checking you didn't get any of the plug wires crossed. make sure they go to their corresponding plugs from the distributor. And if you're really convinced it's fuel related, you need to get a fuel pressure gauge and get some readings and get back to us. good luck.

sorry about that put it up quick, gimmie a second i was sorta trying to get everything down on the thread there so i remember what i could check before i take it in.

yeah i dont think i mixed them up but ill check it will show me on plugs u think if i mixed em up? number or something on distributor?

a fuel pressure gauge..

its fuel injected i was told.

a pressure gauge? how do they work??!..

i just thought it was pump related because it works sometimes then it doesnt, needs gas? iunno i was just guessin thanks for reply as well...im pretty new as you can see..

Could be pumps, but more likely a blocked fuel filter or it could be bad gas...I've had that and it's a pita to diagnose...

Can remember an earlier post by you a while back but can't recall...what's been done so far?

have you checked the fuel pressure? Checked your air filter lately? Changed the fuel filter lately?

There are many things that can cause these symptoms so instead of rapping off all that, best to start with what you've done...even if you've already posted it in another thread, since this is a new thread...

yeah i put 12 bucks of 94 octane the last time i put some in..

fuel filter, who knows when the last time it was checked how hard is it to change it? id love to good learning even if it doesnt end up working, i changed air filter not to long ago it was horrible the old one.

-i changed the plugs few months ago i thought it started worse and idled to slow to the point where it would die.
at the same time my friend cleaned out some green gunk from alternator electric connection.

i took dirtbike out and the truck when we got back we went out few times all the times it was soaked in mud never got to clean under it

when i just tried to start it now it would start but didnt start like 4-5 times then finaly it would go and i would have to hit gas back and forth to even keep it on..
