I picked up a well abused 84 BII today that has the fabled C5. $100.00
I'll still use the 1350 for now but I can upgrade to a D20 or Atlas in the future easier now.

If you click on the link is goes on to say what other tcases are 23 spline, including the np231's. Interesting.

I'm going to contact AA and see if they will sell just the shaft.

Here's the reply I got from AA.

Just the intermediate shaft for C4 to 23 spline tcase such as the d300/np231/Dodge np203 etc.

The part number 52-8100 $241.50 plus shipping.

This is good news, still a bit expensive but not terrible.
