Morgan's 2004 Ford Ranger Build

the stock crossmember goes up over the exhaust, sits on top of the inner frame rail, sitting a ton closer to the driveshaft. mine would scrape and also prevent the rear end from using all the droop.

cool thing was those rivets werent as bad as the ones on the leaf spring hangers.

Must be a 2wd thing. I don't think mine has that cross member. Now I'm curious and going outside to look. be right back... Ummm I must have been stoned last time I was under my truck. Its definately there.

Hahaha I feel ya. I did a huge double take when I found that my truck has the 2 piece frame.

Why is you truck torn down this time?

Chevy 63s are out. Deavers are in. And a teaser shot...

18in FOAs. Relatively cheap.

Nice. From what I hear thought prerunner and cheap don't go in the same sentence haha.

That's why the word relatively is there lol. Against $900 kings these $450 foas will work.

looks good man, but it looks like the shocks are going to mount in single shear? Why the nice bed cage if your going to mount the shocks no better than stock? Perhaps Im seeing it wrong. Nothing against FOA, but I think Id rather get a used set of King, or Fox shocks...

I'd love to see a set of kings on there but don't expect it anytime soon. Bedsides, same deal. No monies.

Main issue is for big ticket items id rather buy new. And the shock mounts will be made double shear before it goes in. The ones on there are good but you're right, not worth having.
