Morgan's 2004 Ford Ranger Build

got a chance to flex her out last night, a little. i could tell she had so much more but is being limited by my rear shocks. location wasnt great either, sidewalk crawlin outside a buddys house.

Do you have any pictures on what you did to the cab mount for the 63 swap?

didnt have to touch it mines an 04.

Did you weld on your spring hanger next to your cab or bolt them on. I need to swap mine is as well but I was worried that I might have to remove My gas tank to make mounting the brackets easier. I've just been lazy lately I guess.

bolted them. if youre careful and watch the fuel lines on the inner frame rail youll be able to steer clear of the gas tank. didnt drop mine, although it was impossible to get the 4th bolt in. no way to get my hands or anything else down there. ill prob end up welding them.

enjoyed a nice day out at the lake yesterday!

quick little whoring.. just been driving her mostly. got my brake conversion done, having a few issues with bad pads and might need a new master. but no biggie ill have her sorted out tonight. might even be able to get the parking brake fixed.

mock up

and here are the final results. the hardest part of this whole thing was getting the drums off.. mainly cutting the backing plate off.

still need to put tabs on the tube to hold the line in one place

finally got around to uploading pics from the race over the weekend in fallon, nv.

cruised out to reno and got a little too schwasted on friday night. still managed to get up early and hit the road to fallon on time.

randoms from the course prerun,

found a sweet spot on the side of the course to watch the race and chill for the night. my buddy and i ended up leaving at 2am when the race was over to get back to sac cause he had work sunday morning. what a day..

cool thing was i got home and was able to have a full day. gave her a bath then replaced the wheel bearings as well as the fuel filter.
what she looked like when i got home..

turns out my passenger side seal blew on a landing. at least i changed them at the right time! haha. still had plenty of grease inside the bearings either way.

step sister..

last random cause she looked good parked all clean at work lol. thats all for now.

still trying to get vids chopped and uploaded. what software do you guys use? had movie maker on my last hard drive and loved it but it didnt get moved over when i got the new hd.

Man your truck makes me want to get a ranger again and turn it into a prerunner!

been a good weekend, after a ton of commuting this past week it was nice to get some shit done on the ranger.

work trip down to beautiful tiberon.

got deavers and beefcake hangers on friday from a member in modesto.

made a bracket to move the hurst long arm i got back an inch. it would hit the dash if i installed without it.

mounted the hilift, just pieces of all thread bolted in with a bushing and wing nut.

gas tank crossmember

Did you make that crossmember? looks pretty sweet.

Bought it off a fabricator at ruffstuff. Allows for the drive line to droop out way more.

?? wouldn't it prevent it? There was nothing there for the drive line to hit before... was there?
