I have a 302 out of an 88? f150 along with an auto trans and t case. I was wornding how would I go about mounting the trans? Do I need to make a new crossmember? and about wireing yes its fule inj I know nothing about wireing it. Do I need to pull the harness out of the f150 or what?

Dont tell me that you have been here from October, and dont know about the Technical Library? You can find a great chunk of swap info there.

For the transmission, find a trans x-member from a 86 and older BII or ranger. These bolt inside of the frame rail, and will work great with your c4. You may have to drill new holes on the center of the bracket to line up with the mounting holes on the transmission. BUt tis by far the quickest way to get your transmission bolted up.

Wiring: All you need to get the rig running is the engine harness and the computer to the 302. If it connects to the passenger side of the f150's firewall, then you need it.
Mind you, this is just to get the engine running.
Run power to the 302's computer, ground it in the correct spots, and you should be up and purring.

If it is the C-6 tranny, you will need to fab some new mounts for it(mines out of an 84 150). I used a Dana 20 t-case though and the adapter is the mount. I used an early bronco mount turned over and about 6" of plate welded to each side to make it work.

blood do you have pics of yours?

I simply used the original crossmember and relocated the mount brackets to the AOD location in this pic.
