I'm guessing that is directed at the "oranamentel" value of the trail sites.

I happen to agree... but... he is actually selling them and people are buying them.

If they served any functional need like actually being able to tie any roof load off there... I would buy them in a heartbeat.

I mean double sided tape, come on.

And they are made for the hood so they can never be more than decoration.

The only benefit I could see to something like that is if they were bolted to the fenders and allowed you to run a cable up to the roof to push brush and small tree branches either back or up over the roof.

Finally found the elusive Matchbox 4dr Bronco...

The little kid started saying "I want a Bronco II!" when I found mine which was kinda weird. He got upset when I could only find more 4dr 6g's on the rack, kept acting like he thought they were BII's.
