More Bronco hear say.

I probably seen 30 driving across Iowa...but that was on 80....all had plates and most were beat up and filthy....Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas plates mostly.....only one I remember having Iowa plates...and several Michigan plates...and the Iowa one was a tiny tire mom mobile...these were cruising not including several loaded transports...the eastbound may have had more Iowa plates...

Probably hundred or more across Utah...many with manufacturer Arizona and Michigan plates...a d the rest mostly Cali plates.

There were quite a few Baja rangers that were huge.

Seen the least amount in Texas....where I figured there would be built ones everywhere.

I think the recall broncos up there are probably bronco sports....

all Ive seen are bronco sports, no mavericks and a fair amount of the 2019+ rangers. Dealer lots around here are very bare, trucks parked sideways to take up more space, not even a 1/4 of available lot space full.

They let you start them but I think they still have to go thru a dealer.

They let you drive them home. It’s called museum delivery since you don’t pick them up from the factory, but the corvette museum instead.

I know a couple that flew down to pick their new one up last summer and the valve spring broke after about 100 miles.

i was thinking someone would have to give it a once over after they get out of the plant.

Mods Popped!

We have digical modulation going on in our Bronco somewhere near Detroitland. It actually exists!

:yahoo:

(there is a site thru motorcraft for techs to see what version software all the electronic modules are running, when they light up on there it means that those modules asigned to that vin have been programmed and are operating)

EDIT: this thing must have more modules than my '85 has wires, they just keep going and going.

New vehicles have morphed into a whole computer network. I’m waiting for vehicles to need reboots, resets, and disconnect and reconnect power issues like our planes do with all digital stuff and upgrades they have gotten with the multi function displays they have gotten to replace the gauges and other systems. Comm/NAV, Avionics, and Electro/Environmental shop get called out all the time. Pretty much daily.

Sad thing is its all unneeded bullshit. Atleast in vehicles. They did just fine without it.

that reminds me I need to update the firmware on my smoker to get it working with the app again...

I remember an article a while back saying that 25% to 40% of a vehicles cost is due to the electronic features. 10s of thousands of dollars.

On a $50K truck you are looking at $13K to $20K for computer features....

It's all a conspiracy to make personal transport unattainable for the common plebian.

.... OR, the evolutionary mechanics in automobiles has hit a wall, and the only way they can charge more for the same vehicle, is to add in hi priced electrocinal doo-dads with back up cameras and 360* cameras, and forward facing cameras, cameras and screens instead of mirrors, and lets make it also a work station with a table saw and tube bender and a 3 tier Kuregg esspresso machine.
