More Bronco hear say.


Got an email last night (at 1030) that our production week is pushed back from the week of 1/17 to the week of 1/24.
 
I didn't know you were that close... hopefully it doesn't keep getting pushed out more.

Shame really that those dates seem to mean nothing for many.

Until you get the "it's built" email I think they are some sort of make-believe....
 
I've seen a couple 4 Door Broncos running around town lately. Yesterday I saw a 4 door base model Bronco....2 doors too many for me, but finally got to see a bare bones Bronco that I never figured I'd see. I think thats the one I'd want, just bare basic...well as basic as you can get in a new(er) vehicle these days LOL...except without the extra 2 doors, no thanks...a 4 door "Bronco" is an Explorer.

Bumper popped right back too rather unnaturally.
 
Wow. I wouldn't have expected the Jeep to roll like that. That could spell disaster for both passengers on the side it rolls to, especially with the doors and roof off.

The pointed nose does it no favors. Hitting at that particular angle.
 
1940’s design that has been upgraded and modified over the years. Jeeps never had a great crash reputation but they must be safe enough for Jeep to still be making them.
 
the Jeep appeared to stay level until the wheel got stuffed under and kicked it up.
Bronc's wheel stayed in the wheel well, sorta.

IIRC aside from one flopping they scored pretty close.

Fun fact. Sasquatch does not have crash bars to block the front tire from stuffing into the cab, Sasquatch also will not be tested.
