So we won't see any Broncos on lots until probably 2023 if they're not going to build any inventory models for dealers till they get all the "pre-ordered" models built....so that puts them at least 2 years behind and by that time there will be something new and better out, I don't see the Bronco lasting very long if they can't build them to get them into the eyes of the public. The Bronco is something totally new, the Escape rebadged Bronco Sport is just a few changes to an already built chassis, so it was quicker to get out. The Bronco itself has soooo many different configurations that require different modifications to parts to be done it'll be a slow agonizing process it seems to get them built. I assume the majority of models that actually get built for inventory purposes for dealer lots will not be basic models I'm thinking maybe several Badlands models, and maybe a few Black Diamond editions, but highly doubt they'll ever build any base or big bend versions to keep on lots, as they probably won't sell? I wouldn't mind the base model myself, as I've stated in the past that I don't have any thoughts of ever going rock crawling with one, and driving down forest service roads would be the worst abuse it would ever see, so a base model would do just fine, would be great if they would offer the regular limited slip rear differential, I'd think that would be plenty for my use. I've never gotten into anything where I've needed a locker, if it looks that bad I drive around it LOL. I had a limited slip rear end in my 98 Grand Cherokee, it worked great for those times you just needed that extra bit of traction, combined with 4WD it would go pretty much anywhere I'd ever need to go, and I had my previous 96 Grand Cherokee with open diffs and full time 4WD in far worse conditions than I ever had my 98 Grand Cherokee and never had any problems or ever felt like I was going to get stuck, so I'd hate to see where I would have to go to need lockers LOL.
