More Bronco hear say.

Go to a junkyard that sells whole vehicles and redo a wrangler from the 80's or 90's and do the same thing we do with rangers put a 4.0 straight 6 or a 300 straight 6 or even a hellcat motor. Honestly building your own vehicle is probably the best thing you could do anymore with the extreme prices of a new truck or car with mild upgrades.
Wish my local junkyard sold complete vehicles, they absolutely refuse. There are usually several in the yard that make you really question why they are there. Several months ago there was a 94 Ford F250 supercab long bed 4x4 with the 460 V8 and C6 in it, body and interior in excellent condition why on earth would someone scrap that, hell even if it needed an engine or transmission rebuild it would be worth it.

Here in Idaho we have a lot of offroaders and hunters, Wranglers are ridiculously priced here used and most aren't in very good condition either because they beat the shit out of them and somehow seem to think they're still worth $10k+.

my guess as to why you can't buy a complete vehicle is because that vehicle is declared as "destroyed" and therefore that VIN cannot be registered anymore. I guess you could find a similar truck with a good cab/ VIN and buy all of the parts that you can off of that one to make a good second truck. get the bed and interior one week, the doors/fenders/ hood/ front clip the next and if you need the frame get it the third week.

My favorite yard has a last chance row out front of vehicles that are really too good to into the yard yet. They haven’t been officially junked yet so they can still go back out.

It depends on how the state works if it gets an R title in pa it goes through a one time enhanced inspection or you build the frame from 4x2 rectangular stock and get a street rod. Its a wrangler not a Porsche there frames are less complicated than an f100......

A junk yard in Pine Gorve Pa, Klingers salvage and recycling does that also. I bought an 88 crown vic was in really good shape the people just didn't want to fix what it needed for inspection. So they took it to him for scrap he kept it till I bought it, then I threw my 89 stx wheels on it sold it to my buddy who drove it every day but ultimately sold it to a lil asian kid who is in love with it.

I really wish I kept it. I wonder why he took the ranger/explorer center caps off?

The title doesn't go anywhere till the vehicle is sent to the crusher, therefore there's absolutely no reason in the world they cannot sell a vehicle off the junk yard lot, they just don't because it cuts into their profit. I asked a while back about a 96 F350 crew cab long bed 4x4 they had sitting outside their gate, it had 212k on it, needed new tires, they had no idea if it ran or drove, but said they'd want $3500 minimum I said for a truck you have no clue about I'd give you scrap price for it but that would be it...supposedly they bought it at an auction and too damn lazy to stick a battery in it and see if it fired up and drove....would take what like 5 minutes max to figure out if it would run and move....they've got a bunch of vehicles out on their yard that I would not be surprised if you put fuel in it and all the other fluids back in it threw in a battery if many wouldn't actually run and drive....people are way to quick to toss a decent vehicle in the trash today because its so simple to take out a bank loan for 7 years on a new $80k car than spend the $1,000 or less fixing the one that was already paid for LOL.

I've never asked them what they'd charge for a cab, bed, or frame, but those would most likely be the high $$$$ items probably cost more than an engine or transmission LOL. How would the cab help you though, that's where the VIN is located so how could they sell the cab?

Hmm, I wonder if that's the deal with my local yards, once they're in the yard the title has been processed for being destroyed possibly? Trouble is they have pretty ridiculous prices on stuff that they have no idea about, like $3500 on an F350 pickup that they don't know if it runs or drives or anything about it, I was tempted to bring a battery pack over and see if it would start LOL. But I wouldn't give them $3500 for a vehicle that is "Scrapped", I'd give them scrap price for their scrapped vehicle.

From the pics in the "leaked" photos link it appears the Bronco being released is possibly about the size of the original Bronco or Bronco 2? Isn't there supposed to be 2 different ones coming out a smaller and larger one like what the full size Bronco was and the Ranger based Bronco 2? Or has all that changed and warped into 1?

There are 2 different sizes.
This one is the larger Ranger sized one.
The other is the “baby Bronco”... Bronco Sport or Maverick. It will be revealed next month.
Ford will never use the BroncoII name again because of past roll over incidents.

That's what I'd be more interested in. Something the size of an escape, but boxier, awd, 2.3eb, and cheaper!

A selectable center diff like what's in the STi would be awesome.

That’s about the size of it... I don’t know any other details.

Ok thanks. So still no official name then. But they use the explorer name even after all those roll overs LOL...

They still use the explorer name... but they don't use firestones.
