By the time you add fuel can, hi-lift jack, tools, spare parts, cooler, camping gear with 50 lbs of cast iron cookware, coleman lanterns, stove and fuel all that take will disappear . I like it.

No, you gotta level it so it looks like it is dragging its @$$ when it is loaded. Then it looks cool.

I'm not convinced of that totally... Might include a different spring for all we know. They sure are holding GVW numbers pretty tight.

B&P is still very... unpolished too.

With two trucks in the fleet I don't really care about the rating a whole lot. I only use the reciever on my wife's Edge when she gets it stuck, I suspect the Bronco will be the same way (hopefully less often)

It isn't a tow vehicle... Ford engineered it to be a "high performance off road vehicle". I think thats what the latest commercial I see lately states.

Probably not brake lines... maybe wiring for the locker.

They have caught a lot of flak for that.

Like if you go squatch you can't get the roof rack because of GVW concerns. Overlanders want the squatch with a RTT, fridge etc... Bronco gets overweight FAST.

Ok, just get a trailer... and you hit the same wall between gear and trailer and you have a trailer to contend with on the trail.

Looks like the insulation is on the brake lines, there is a harness on top of the axle I assume for the wheel speed sensor. Guessing the insulation is due to the proximity of the muffler. Anyone want to guess what part of the brake line is going to rot first? lol

The towing package is the little receiver that bolts onto a crossmember with four bolts and connector for $500. With no GVW info available I don't think anything changes that way.

That looks even less useful than a ball mounted on a bumper.

Its the same as a "normal" receiver. Just rather than the receiver welded on a crossmember that is bolted on the frame it is bolted to a crossmember that is welded on the frame.

With the Bronco being pretty short, I don’t think you’ll be wanting to tow anything all that big anyway. Whether the powertrain could handle more or not, things could go sideways real quick.

Off roaders will probably do more like the Jeep enthusiasts do and not tow much bigger than a pure off road expedition trailer. Those generally aren’t that big.

People wanted a Jeep competitor. They got one.

4dr is fairly long, probably longer/wider than a Ranger.

I do think a package improving payload/towing to compete with a Defender at a Ford price would have been well received.

Right on, fair enough. Hopefully folks won't need too many of those spare parts for their brand new bronco though lol they'll have to cange the ford emblems to read "FOTD" for found on trail dead.

Yeah, that is why you carry some basic spares no matter the vehicle age.
