More Bronco hear say.

Been there, done that.... multiple times.... but the newer stuff good luck getting a manual transmission to work with the computer nonsense. If we didn't have so many environmental nazis I would just throw a carbed, built 440 in my Ram with a 4 speed. But inspection on OBD2.... Nooo we wanna plug f**k your port....

i like the 6 and 10 speed autos...but if you want a handshaker...not hard to do.

4050 trans is the modern standard bearer. they are 3500-4200 bux....but brand new. they are the go-to trans. they replace all of the old creepers and even the venerable big dawg.. nv4500...made for upgrading all of the big 3 classics and jeep..... thank you tremec.....for building the tr 4050.

these can go right on the new ford engines...6.2, 5.4, 5.2 voodoo 5.0 coyote...4.6 or the windsors...and godzilla.

all of those engine applications are readily available to work with a manual trans application. even the ecoboost.

its a 10 k power train with a used engine..... so at least a 1000 a year for ten years enjoyment.

the new bronco could be 1000 a month all in for a mac daddy model.

i hope i can get one.

in the time of 4 digit horsepower streetable cars and 800 hp daily drivers.....through cats and obd ports....i am good with it.

but if you look at what i drive....hedge is always at the fore. but i really love the electric stuff in the works.

I've seen that and believe you are right.....

I did here there will be a July release. Coming after the 2021 F150 intro.

I have definitive proof that the new bronco will have a 1.6 liter fiesta motor.

Ford is building a Bronco?

nope, they have already built a bronco. started in 1966 or so and ended in 1996. In fact, they even made a smaller version called the Bronco II. very similar to the Ranger small pickup.

There is a forum for them around here somewhere...

If a "front dig" has anything to do with pulling the E-brake and locking one of the back tires while the front continues to spin, then yes, I believe you did. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Sorry for my ignorance.

But you can’t just pull the ebrake in 4wd, it would lock both rear tires and slow the fronts.

Older transfer cases like mine you can modify them to put the rear in neutral. You can then use the parking brake or a line lock to lock up the rear wheels.

I doubt the bronco has that.

It is probably something with the traction control, it just locks up the inside tire. How it knows to do that is intriguing. Or is it manually done?

Pretty cool regardless.

On an open rear end, the e-brake won't necessarily lock both rear wheels, but I agree, it's odd that it was the inside rear wheel was locking up. You'd think that would be the one to slip the brakes with the additional weight on the other one. Possibly traction control, but if so, I don't think I want it to work that way. IMO, there was no real reason for that wheel to lock up in that situation.
