More Bronco hear say.

I wouldn't say they're much cheaper.

There was a full size 90's bronco for sale at a local dealership for a while, asking price was $47K with 140k miles, and the hard top was missing (had a aftermarket soft top installed ).

Looking online I can find some for sale, still $30K to $60K for one that you can drive home.
New bronco is 50k correct? Give or take?

...and personally id plunk down 30k for a nice 78-96 bronco before i paid 50 for a new one

It's funny how it happened during the covid too, when nobody had any money and the government needed 120 trillion billion dollars to spend on stimulus checks lol.

$1800 won't buy many $40k Broncos...

No lol. But EVERYTHING went crazy, got sold out in a hurry, and hasn't come back yet. Clearly giving everyone 1800$ wasn't completely necessary

But people complain about not having money for rent when they ended that whole fiasco...

People got all hood-rich lol, that's all it is. It's got to be.

Even the prices of collectibles went crazy. I have a trading card I aquired for the equivalent of 400$ a year or two pre-covid. Immediately after everyone got their stimulus checks... the price of that card jumped to 1400$. All the nerds who could never afford.. or.. couldn't be bothered to save up enough TO afford such things immediately spent all their free money on said things.

Thanks nerds! I'm about to sell off my expensive piece of cardboard and buy a bunch of squarebody parts with my healthy return on investment lol.

Looks like a stripper base 2 door is under $30k on Fords website.

Looks like the pricing is pretty much the same.

$30k 78 bronco will probably have a good amount of miles, maybe some hidden rust, and who knows what kind of repairs.

I would have to heavily inspect a 45year old truck before I paid 30+ for it.

And then dd it in salt so it can be a rust bucket in 5 years?

I'd imagine people who spend that much on crap that old don't drive whatever it is during winter.

You never know though.. I once made a comment to a guy at the hobby store about what shame it was for him to be driving his 911 when it was all salty and gross out.. and what he said to me was along the lines of "eff it, once you've owned one they just become another car"

Clearly has a ton of money, and willing to spend it on rust.

That's just it, our Bronco will be a full time dd. One reason we got it is i am tired of dragging her edge out of snow.

I would DD one in the winter. Things are meant to be driven. Plus, personally, like i said id rather spend the money on an old one and have something i enjoy driving then just another rolling refrigerator

Nope. They look cool but besides that...eh ill pass. I never cared for Early broncs either.

If they would of offered a solid axle, V8, and less of the techno crap maybe id be a bit more inclined.
