More Bronco hear say.

Yeah... my wife told me she parked next to a Bronco the other day too.

If ya don't know... ya just don't know.

I do that to my wife... but with Ford Flexes.

"Hey, isn't that a Bronco?" :temper: "oh it looked like one"

:stirthepot:

It's lame having two completely different vehicles with the same name.

I agree.

Ford has invited me to go down to Austin later this month to drive the new (fullsize) Bronco. :yahoo:
So, is a (full size) Bronco, the Ranger based mid size thing?? Or is it an F-150 based one that would properly compare to the historic (full size) Bronco :p

The new Ranger and Bronco are in the same plant.

T-6 architecture.

They drew their inspiration more from the original Bronco than the fullsized ones.

They actually 3d scanned one for a baseline.

I didn't realize the new Bronco was still based on the T6 platform until now.

Wasn't the original Bronco from the 60's its own chassis and body? Wasn't based off anything was it? Then came the full size Bronco which was then based off the F150? Then the Bronco 2 based off the Ranger....The new "Bronco" I think is based on the Ranger platform or will be next year if I recall, which is why it shares the same powertrain options I think....IDK somebody with better info on this correct the details please.

I've seen a couple Bronco Sports around town, they honestly don't look too bad, but they just say BRONCO on the front grill....stupid to me because that should be on the new "BRONCO" they really should have named the Bronco "Sport" something else like Edge 2 or something LOL.

I must have read a thousand times that the Bronco is based off the next Ranger chassis (2022 or 2023).... if they’re not using that chassis for the Ranger yet, wouldn't the Ranger be based off the Bronco chassis??

It's a chicken and egg thing and most of the world can't see it.

I wonder if it will be called the T6 yet too, T6 came out in '11.

That's what I understand... it will still be T6.

Even though there are changes in the T6 from the current Ranger and the Bronco... it's still T6.

I have been wrong before though...

I read some where that Ford has a group of Jeep Gladiators that they are testing in hopes of developing a Bronco truck. Figured some of you would like to hear that
