Has anyone ever modified a dash pad? I have a couple thoughts I would like to do to one, but could use some tips/advice as to going about it.

Thanks

Personnaly I have not but I have seen them recovered in an array of different materials.

what were you planning on doing to it?

Well, I was thinking about taking the arc around the gauge cluster (95+ dash pad) and extending it to go over the radio bezel so I could add in a couple of goodies, and have them look like they half-way belong in the truck.

I wasn't thinking about recovering it, I like the vinyl/plastic/whatever material in it now; more just cutting and adding to it to fit my idea.

well you can do anything you want really... all you have to do is draw up a sketch that you want, and since your covering it and not paint itll be ALOT easier and less time involved
