On my 85 2.8 i want to completely get rid of all a/c components....the heater blower motor is connected to the condenser box....is there a good cheap way to cut out just the a/c part and put a new type of plastic box in its place. Its in my way and all busted up and would just like it gone.maybe someone knows of a piece they make to reconnect the heater side to the firewall where the a/c side is....if that makes any sense lol

Go find an '83-97 Ranger in the junk yard that didnt have AC from the factory. Buy the heater box. Install it on your truck... I got one for under $20 from the JY.
