modded my headlights

next i was thinking of some grille lighting but unsure of if i want to put round ones in like the mustang, put lights behind the grille. was also thinking of frosting some plexiglass and doing some blue led's behind the grille. definately doing the 06 corners too.

dude thats beast how did you do that?

take your headlights out, put them in the oven on 200 for 15 mins. pry off the outer lens, mask off the 2 dishes, paint everything else black, silicone the lenses back on. i dont think you can do it with the older headlights though. probably just eh 01 and ups

quick question, i was looking at my lights earlier today thinking about doing this.

between the reflector dish for the headlight, and the reflector for the turn signal, the housing "steps up" about an inch and a half. did you paint that section, or leave it chrome to help reflect more? i dont think it would matter much to paint it, but i believe it dips down into the reflector for the headlight some.
