Hey guys. Got a 2.9 87 ranger that I picked up for 800. No fire originally but sorted it out from what I read here. The diagnoses for the ignition system was awesome. Led me to the pip sensor and I just put a new distributor, plugs, and wires and she lives after a 3 year nap. Drained the gas but I figure varnish and or trash in lines because she purrs like a kitten with occasional miss at idle and hesitation miss under load/acceleration but I'm diving into the forum now for a fuel system diagnoses. Anyway, nice to meet you guys.
