Missing part in engine swap!?!?!?!?!?!

Hey guys


i ran into a little problem!!!

I am currently installing a "new" engine into my 1994 4x4 x-cab 4.0L (existing/old) automatic trans. since the original engine gave up the ghost

"new" i mean new to me, it's a new 4.0L from a 92 explorer.:blush:

basically i can't remember where this piece goes?!?!?!?!?!?!?!:rolleyes:

if anyone knows where this peice goes it would be much appreacited:clapping:

It bolts on the block below the ps pump and hooks to a small shock absorber under the ds fender.

I am certainly glad, he remembers what this part looked like though... don't you hate when your staring at a peice that you took off the engine several months ago and have no idea what, why or how to put it back on...

Missing piece

It keeps the torque of your engine from wearing out your motor mounts prematurely. In the olden day's some big inch drag racers used to put a small length of chain on their engines to do the same thing.
