I have a 1999 Ranger 2.5L SOHC with Automatic Transmission. I sent the block out for rebuild and it came back with out the Crank Bolts for the Flex/DrivePlate. I forgot to remove them, my fault not the shop. I have called the local Ford dealer they claim they can not even find these bolts in the system??? There are six bolts. Can anyone help me figure out what size they are or provide a Ford part number, that would work too. One lead I have is; M10-1.00X30.0 I am not sure how to translate that at an automotive store for hardend bolts.

Any help would be appriciated. Thank you.

Usually the flexplate bolt is a Grade 8 bolt. Ace Hardware sometimes has Grade 8 Bolts. I've sourced Dodge/Jeep flexplate bolts via this source. You may want to stop there and take a look if you've an Ace in your area. Be careful about the head thickness. Often the head needs to be thinner than a standard bolt due to clearance reasons.

Sometimes they're 12 point bolts too. You could try a boneyard, they'd probably just give 'em to ya.

I have a set from my 89 Ranger 2.9L auto flex plate. You can have them if they are the same. Check out if they are and let me know.

Sorry I should have updated you before

Thank you very much for the offer. I was able to track down some bolts at a parts store. 5 were the correct length one needed to be cut down. But looks like all is good. Now I am just having a problem with the Rocker Arms on the rebuilt head :(
